Vera Molnár
Segments oranges reflects Vera Molnár’s mature practice, in which modular systems and intuitive deviation coexist. Based on a programmed geometric structure, the orange segments unfold according to a defined logic. Within this system, Molnár introduces subtle variations that generate rhythm and visual movement.
Conceived as four autonomous elements that may be installed horizontally or vertically, the work emphasizes flexibility and spatial dialogue. For Molnár, the relationship between artwork, architecture, and viewer was fundamental. The modular format allows adaptation to different environments while preserving internal coherence. The piece reaffirms her pioneering role in generative and algorithmic art, where repetition becomes a vehicle for complexity rather than uniformity.
