Work #AF2 from the V1S10N series by Juergen Staack. Juergen Staack is an emerging photographer following the tradition of the Düsseldorf School of Bernd and Hilla Becher. I have had a longstanding collaboration with Thomas Ruff, who not only serves as Staack's mentor but also approaches photography conceptually, pushing its boundaries. Ruff engages with photography as both a medium and an art form. Staack's work reflects this innovative approach, carrying forward the tradition of the Düsseldorf School with contemporary flair and innovative ideas.
The V1S10N series is based on artificially generated images of landscapes. The concept originates from the idea that if Caspar David Friedrich had access to the technology at the time, he might have taken Polaroid photos. The series comprises realized images, elaborated designs, and V1S10Ns serving as the foundation for painterly works.
Enclosed is a portfolio; these photographs are all beautifully framed in white. The price includes framing, and you can find an example in the attachment.
