"ILARA opens the space, and the sound travels farther than the body.
Every moment is the beginning of an echo, and the future is already growing from it."
An image of Rhea, one of Saturn’s icy moons, presents a cratered world whose surface bears the marks of ancient impacts—cosmic events that occurred billions of years ago.
Beside it appears a Hemba helmet mask from the Suku culture of the Congo. Danced in initiation rituals, the mask carried the wisdom of ancestors and functioned as a symbol of collective memory and protective power within the community.
Next appears a bass saxtuba from the nineteenth century, a monumental wind instrument designed to amplify the human voice and transform breath into sound that travels through public space—from opera halls to ceremonial gatherings.
In the background unfolds the Veil Nebula, the luminous remnant of an ancient supernova explosion. Clouds of glowing gas expand through space, telling a story of destruction and renewal on a cosmic scale.
A scarred moon, an initiation mask, a monumental musical instrument, and the remains of an exploded star present different forms of resonance. Some preserve the memory of collision, others transmit wisdom across generations, and others translate breath into energy moving through space.
