As part of Various Others and the exhibition “Future Ancestors / Silent Matter,” the gallery hosted an artist talk with Ilit Azoulay and Tobias Stirl, Specialist for Contemporary Art at Phillips Auction House, Munich. The conversation focused on Azoulay’s research-based artistic practice, exploring themes of collective memory, layered histories, and the relationship between archival imagery and contemporary visual culture. Together, they discussed the works presented in the exhibition and the ways in which images can shape and challenge our understanding of history and perception.
