"ZARNA lights the small lights, and the world begins to appear.
She asks us not to wait for a single great light, but to kindle many."
Opposite, it appears Earth at night, a planetary view in which the lights of cities trace the network of human activity across the planet. From this distance, these small lights become a kind of human script spread across the surface of the world.
An ancient figure kneeling before a greater power and a view from space in which humanity appears as a constellation of lights coexist here. Between them opens a space where signs of ancient ritual and signs of contemporary human activity echo one another.
